Prayer MINISTRY

It is a privilege to pray; because it brings you into close fellowship with God, admitting your need for Him and your dependence upon Him.

- Prayer is as old as man, as universal as religion and as instinctive as breathing.

- Prayer springs from the heart with a need . . . a need greater that man's ability to

  encounter.

- Prayer is man's ability to encounter.

- Prayer is man's acknowledgment of a being higher than himself.

How can we pray for you today?

Prayers & Squares

This heartfelt prayer initiative started back in 1992 when the first quilt was gifted to a young child in San Diego, CA, following surgery at Hope Methodist Church. Each quilt is made with love, featuring prayer ties; as these ties are secured, the maker says a prayer for the recipient who will receive the quilt.

First Baptist Church Warren proudly became the 1138 chapter of the Prayers & Squares ministry in 2014. Watch for the quilts when ready to be tied and prayed over on Sundays in the lobby of the sanctuary.

IT'S NOT ABOUT THE QUILTS;
IT'S ABOUT THE PRAYERS.
