OR, you can give online directly to Samaritan's Purse and you can "Build A Box" right on their website. Visit  https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/buildonline/.

"Every shoebox gift is an opportunity to reach a child with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It's about telling children around the world and their families that God loves them. He hasn't forgotten them.

We're taking the Good News to the ends of the earth and doing it through a shoebox."

    Franklin Graham, President, Samaritan's Purse

  • BOLD STEPS TO SHARE

First Baptist Warren is about taking BOLD STEPS to SHARE the Blessings of God’s Kingdom across the street and around the world.

Ephesians 3:11-12 reminds us that we have “Boldness and Confidence” through faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. Galatians 5:25 instructs us “Since, we live by the spirit, let us keep in STEP with the Spirit.” It is our conviction that keeping in step with the spirit requires BOLD obedience. We are committed to providing opportunities for you to take BOLD STEPS to SHARE the Gift of God that resides in you with the World.

In each of our lives we come to a point where our faith and our comfort come into conflict. For the Rich Young Ruler (Mark 10) when challenged to sell all that he had, give to the poor, and follow Jesus; “he walked away grieving.” The essence of BOLD STEPS is leaving the comfort of the familiar with a burden to SHARE the peace and hope of Jesus with the world.

The beauty of following Christ is that the bold steps look different for each of us. For some it is a Bold Step to SHARE the Hope of Jesus with a friend, neighbor, or co-worker. For others, it is a Bold Step to go across town to an unfamiliar neighborhood to SHARE God’s Love. It is a Bold Step to volunteer in a local ministry investing in others and SHARING your time. For still others, it is following Jesus across the United States or even the World to SHARE the forgiveness that Christ offers. Regardless of where, God is calling us to join Him and SHARE Him with the World. So let’s take Bold Steps together and experience the wonder of being part of God’s Great Mission of reaching the Nations.
