Dr. David Mahfouz serves as Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Warren. David is a native of Southeast Texas and is married to Monica. Mahfouz is a three time graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has continued his education in missions at UNISA examining best practices for Theological Education earning a PhD in Theology with a specialization in Missiology. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Baptist General Convention of Texas and chairs the History and Heritage Committee and Baptist Distinctives Council. He is the author of the book,  A Relevant Church in a Postmodern World. David and Monica have one son, Christopher, who is a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor Law.
